Brighton Radiology Associates began as a private practice in western PA with just 4 radiologists in 1978.  Since that time it has grown considerably in size, scope and degree of specialization to become one of the largest private radiology practices in Western PA.  Currently we rely on over 20 Board Certified Radiologists to take part in the care of tens of thousands of patients at our various hospitals and imaging centers.  This care is provided continuously through our 24/7 coverage policy which renders real-time final reports, every day of the year .

Activities/Interests: Cross Sectional Body Imaging. Dr. DeRiggi joined Brighton Radiology in 2010, after practicing for 14 years with Almar Radiologists in Pittsburgh

Activities/Interests: After fellowship, Dr. Johnson joined the faculty at UPMC as Assistant Professor in the Department of Abdominal Imaging from 2010-2012. He joined Brighton Radiology in 2012 where he practices General Radiology while continuing his interest in Abdominal Imaging including abdominal and pelvic CT, PET/CT, MR, Ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided interventions. Additional interests include Women’s Imaging and Obstetrical Ultrasound. Dr. Johnson is Chairman of Radiology for Heritage Valley, Sewickley and serves on the Steering Committee for the Lung Cancer Screening Program

In addition to General Radiology, his interests include Musculoskeletal Imaging and Nuclear Medicine

Activities/Interests: Dr Nemer joined Brighton in 2017 following his fellowship at UPMC. His interests are primarily related to his sub-specialty training (MRI, Ultrasound, CT, and Conventional Radiographs) with emphasis on Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Oncology, complex trauma, Rheumatology, and post-operative evaluation. He is one of the core physicians in Brighton Radiology’s dedicated MSK Ultrasound service at Heritage Valley Health System and performs image-guided injections of the spine, axial skeleton, and peripheral joints
